It is 1960- As a teenager, Larry Goldfellar, goes with his family to Makowskys Bungalow Colony in the Catskill Mountains. It is their fifth summer there.                                           

During this summer he experienced his first taste of the passions of youth with Judy Nathenson. They believed their love would last forever, but due to unforeseen circumstances it doesn’t.  

The following summer, he meets terry Oberman, and they experience the wonderments of summers in the Catskills. They fall in live and marry a year later.

Forty years later there is an unexpected turn of events……
